Storage

As a means to ensure that our hair retains its quality, our units are packaged in satin bags. Satin prevents friction between the hair extensions and other surfaces.  We recommend that you store the hair in the bags provided since proper storage can also contribute to the longevity of our units.

Lace removal and care

We suggest using a lace removal product, or a 70 % ethanol solution when removing the lace. Be sure to allow the removal product to saturate the lace for at least 1-2 minutes before removing. Kindly ensure that any adhesive attached to the lace is removed.

Hair Care

A contributing factor to the longevity of our units is the way in which the hair is cared for. Sulphate-free shampoos should be used on hair by Postiche de luxe. Units should be washed in a container with luke warm water that has shampoo already dissolved in it. They should then be dipped several times and then cleansed with luke warm water.  One should avoid using extensive heat on hair extensions to prevent heat damage. We strongly suggest using heat protectant products prior to styling.

Styling Tips

We advise moisturizing straight and kinky straight hair at least three times a week using a light weight oil. To make sure curls last, use a holding spray. Turn all hot tools down to low heat and use a heat protectant spray before styling.

Use a denman brush to disentangle hair from root to tip for curly or wavy textures. Since curly hair undergoes a lot of processing to produce the lovely coils that are present, it is imperative that the hair is kept hydrated. For a defined look, use mousse or another preferred curly creating or maintaining product.

Colored Hair

Colored hair has undergone extensive processing and may appear dry. As a result, it is critical to deep condition the hair on a regular basis and to keep it hydrated at all times.
